List of 16 Best Free Apps That Pay You Real Money:

1. Ebates

Ebates is one of my preferred money-earning apps because you receive cashback for things you’re going to buy anyhow, as long as you do it by their app. How? Stores pay Ebates a commission for shipping customers to their store. Ebates divides that commission with you, so you both win.

I’ve made over $500 from buying online through Ebates and suggesting friends.

When I know I want to purchase something, and I don’t want it right away, I buy it online (if shipping is free) to take benefit of my Ebates perks.

I have a nice check for $265 on the way! This money-making app is free for androids and IOS

2. Dosh

Dosh is also a cashback app, but it’s more of a passive form of profit, my favorite type of income! Set it up, ignore it, and get rewarded!

The Dosh cash back app lets you combine your credit and debit cards to automatically get cash back when you shop, eat, travel, and more at joining local and national traders.

I ignored I had this app, and I was out to dinner with my husband for our anniversary and received this email after we paid here

and this keeps happening when I use my credit card at engaging traders!

Downloading this app is a no-brainer. You get a nice little payment for something you were paying for anyway.

And if you book your hotel with the Dosh App, you get $25 cash back on your first hotel booking on top of the cash back you will earn for the hotel charging itself.

But wait, there’s more…

You can make even more cash with their referral business. You get $5 for everyone that signs up using your referral link, AND if you receive a business to sign up, you’ll get 20% of the business’ Dosh fees for TWO YEARS!

There is no end to the number of businesses you can sign up for. Depending on the volume of the business, it could be a full-time PASSIVE income! Know anyone?

Available for IOS and Android

3. Ibotta

Apps That Pay You Real Money

Ibotta is another app that allows you to get cash back for items you buy anyway. I LOVE this app.

Here’s How It Works:

  • Download the Ibotta App and before you shop, add suggestions on products you usually purchase anyway.
  • Buy the stocks you selected at any participating store. Don’t forget your voucher!
  • Redeem your suggestions by taking a photo of your voucher. Ibotta will match the things you bought for the offers you picked and give you the cash!

Your cashback will be transferred into your Ibotta account within 48 hours.

I’ve made $105.53 so far from a combination of shopping and referring friends. If you tell your friends to sign up, they get $10, and you get $5!

4. HealthyWage

HealthyWage is a company approved by the Government to incentivize people to lose weight by putting their own money at the chance with the potential to earn up to $10,000! It’s the last losing weight challenge.

Here’s How it Works:

  • Start with the HealthyWage Prize Calculator. Insert how much weight you want to lose, how long you’ll take to lose it, and how much you desire to bet a month for that period.
  • The calculator decides your prize amount, up to $10,000. You can play around with the calculator continuously so you get your desired prize amount.
  • Sign up and accept to pay the monthly amount for the term of the challenge.
  • Reach your weight-loss goal, and get your prize! If you don’t beat your goal, your money goes to finance HealthyWage, including prizes for others who reach their goals.

5. StepBet

StepBet is related to HealthyWage, but it bets against your steps.

Apps That Pay You Real Money

You bet on yourself to reach your step goals, and if you don’t reach your goals, then you’ll lose the money. If you DO reach your goals, you’ll always make your money back and make some more.

Here’s How it works:

  • Choose a game to get your step goals, then bet into the pot to join (you’ll be classified in with others trying to make their goals).
  • Move your personalized step goals for each week of the game
  • Make your goals for the whole game and divided the pot! Get back your bet plus a profit

How does StepBet get funded? StepBet holds 15% of the gross pot to pay Referees, transaction fees, game hosts, and administrative support.

The price you bet can vary from game to game, but most are $40.

7. Get Paid For Giving Your Opinion With These Survey Apps ($100 a month or more)

Swagbucks and Inbox Dollars are apps I suggest downloading, but the more review sites you sign up for, the more money you’ll make.

I recommend signing up for Vindale Research, Survey Junkie, and PrizeRebel. These aren’t apps, but they can still do on your smartphone.

Bonus: Get a $5 Sign up bonus with Swag Bucks if you click the link-up.

8. Acorns (In Change!)

Acorns are a great way to start micro-investing. It rounds up your purchases to the nearest dollar and invests the difference on your side.

You can link as multiple credit or debit cards as you like and set your “change” to work for you in a low-cost ETF. The service takes $1 a month, BUT for College students it’s FREE!

Acorns control your bank account and automatically invest the change from your regular purchases. For example, if you order a coffee for $1.75, Acorns will round up to $2.00 and automatically invest $.25 in “smart portfolios.”

I made $60 so quickly without even notifying. There are no fees linked with withdrawing, hold in mind that it may be more of a tax implication for the following year.

Bonus: Sign up with my link and receive $5 to invest, and they will also plant an oak tree to help the world around us grow.

9. Instacart

Get $100 a day or more through grocery shopping for others using the Instacart app. I did a full study of this app, and you can verify it out here.

This is something to think if you want some quick, easy money with the app.

Declutter provides you to sell your used electronics like CDs, DVDs, games, phones, and tablets.

11. Foap App

Get paid by just taking quality images and videos from your smartphone.

Apps That Pay You Real Money

You do not have to be an expert photographer, but it would be good to check this article out on how to take quality photos from your smartphone.

Firms are willing to pay big bucks for images and videos, think about the quality that you assume when you’re looking at pics, and it will quickly raise the bar.

The Foap app has something called Missions where firms will tell you what kind of photo or video they are watching and if you determine to take on that “Mission” your photo or video is selected and could earn thousands of dollars!

Follow the Mission brief and upload one or multiple videos or pictures that display what kind of imagery the company is after.

Available for iOS and Android.

12. EyeEm

EyeEm is a different money-earning app very similar to Foap. A photo can sell again and again to many clients, and you’ll make money every time.

Michael from PetaPixel wrote a great article on how he earned $1,254.93 in four months and gave some great photography tips.

Available for iOS and Android

13. Upwork

I use this app to find freelance chances, and it helped me earn a nice side income.

Apps That Pay You Real Money

There are so many types of freelance chances you’ll want to check them out here.

I suggest only applying to the jobs that have 5-10 projects already submitted (low competition increases your chances to win the job) and making sure they have a blue check that says confirmed payment to prevent scams. When you see something you’re involved in, apply for it quickly.

Available for IOS and Android

14. Raise

When I first listened to Raise, I thought, what an excellent idea. Many people receive gift cards as gifts, but it puts them in a box to only waste money at that particular store.

Raise has taken benefit of this and created a marketplace for people who want to sell their gift cards at a discount to people who desire to save some money.

For example, if I’m going to shop at Target and I want to give myself a spending limit of $100, I’ll first check Raise to see if I can purchase a $100 gift card at a reduction.

It makes thought to check this app before you make any big purchases to save.

15. CRED

If you take a credit card with rewards and pay the statement balance in full each month, you can get FREE money.

You have to pay money on food, clothes, gas, etc. so why not get a percentage of that money back if you can ON TOP of the cashback you’ll get from the apps mentioned up?

My husband and I put everything on our one Chase Freedom credit card because the more you use, the more cashback rewards you receive.

I spent over $500 of my cashback rewards on Christmas last year, and now I’m back up to $654. This is not necessarily an app, but I do use the Chase app to track my transactions and rewards.

If you sign up for the Chase Freedom Credit card, you get a $150 bonus if you spend $500 within the first three months. That should be easy to do if you use it on everything like us.16.

16. Seated

So, here’s the point, when I became a stay-at-home mom we had to cut prices on going out to eat. I need every incentive to go out to eat, and thanks to Seated, I get paid when I eat out if I make a reservation through their app.

Apps That Pay You Real Money

The amount is in gift cards, and you can typically make $10 to $50 each time you book a ticket. I appreciate someone who eats out a lot and made $200 in one month using this app.

Here’s how it works:

•    Book an available reservation on the app and choose your favored reward (Lyft, Amazon, or Starbucks gift card)

•    Dine out and upload a photo of your slip to verify what you’ve spent

•    Your decided reward code will be delivered digitally in the app within 24 hours of every successful reservation.

Restaurants are always looking for ways to get new loyal customers, that’s why they are willing to give $10-$50 in hopes they become a loyal customers. The Seated app is such a great idea.
